Nhà máy nước Thủ Đức tọa lạc ở phía đông Thành Phố Hồ Chí Minh, đường Lê Văn Chí, phường Linh Trung, quận Thủ Đức. Nhà máy có công suất hoạt động lên đến 750.000m³/ngày đêm. Đây chính là đầu mối chính trong việc cung cấp nước cho toàn Sài Gòn và được xem là nhà máy nước có quy mô sản xuất lớn nhất khu vực Đông Nam Á.
Challenges:
The factory was built in 1962 and officially operated in 1966, up to now it has been more than 50 years. The butterfly valve installed here is a valve imported from the US that, after more than 50 years, it has shown signs of deterioration and leakage. The challenge was raised:
– The replacement butterfly valve must be compatible with the old valve
– Meeting the plant’s capacity of 750,000 cubic meters / day and night
– Resistant to hot weather all year round
– Meeting the ANSI / AWWA standards for replacement and installation
– Long life time and less maintenance
Solutions:
– Using and installing a compatible butterfly valve from Mueller (USA)
– Fully meet the technical requirements of the Factory
Mueller butterfly valves are selected for the project:
– Butterfly valves types DN42 ”, DN30 ”, DN18 ”, and DN16 ”.
– The actuators for opening and closing valves are either hydraulic or electric
